How do I schedule a tour?
It’s easy! You can schedule a tour online, give us a call at (618) 462-1500, or simply stop by anytime. Our doors are always open and we would love to show you around!
What community amenities are offered?
There’s plenty to love! Residents enjoy three tasty, restaurant style meals each day, weekly housekeeping and laundry services, on site nursing support, medication management, scheduled transportation, and a full calendar of engaging activities—all designed to make life easier, fuller, and more enjoyable.

Is your community pet friendly?
Yes! Small pets are absolutely welcome at Evergreen, as long as the resident is able to care for their furry companion independently.
We know how much a beloved pet can mean, and we are happy to welcome them home too.
What type of care do you offer?
Evergreen is a supportive living community, which means adults over 65 get the support they need while keeping the independence they love.
Our services include personalized personal care, medication management, nursing oversight, housekeeping, laundry, three meals a day, scheduled transportation, and a full activities program — all under one roof!
What is included in my monthly cost?
Everything!

Is there nursing or medical staff on site?
Absolutely! Our CNA team is here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so help is always close by.
Our LPN and RN staff are also on site seven days a week during business hours and on-call for emergencies.
You can rest easy knowing your loved one is always in caring, capable hands.
What activities do you offer your residents?
Every day is full of something wonderful!
Residents enjoy daily exercise classes, bingo, painting, crafting groups, live entertainment, religious services, community outings, and our beloved Friday Happy Hour.

Can couples live together?
Absolutely! Couples are welcome to share a beautiful one bedroom apartment or choose two separate studio apartments—whatever feels most comfortable and supportive for their lifestyle.
How do I know if my loved one needs supportive living?
If your loved one needs a little extra help with daily activities, has experienced frequent falls, is finding it harder to manage their home, is no longer driving, or is feeling isolated and lonely — supportive living could be a wonderful and truly life-changing next step.
We are always happy to talk it through with you, at whatever pace feels right.
What is supportive living?
Supportive living is for adults 65 and older who want their own private space without managing everything on their own.
It gives you the independence of your own apartment with the peace of mind that comes from having a caring team right there when you need them.
As a proud participant in the Illinois Supportive Living Program, Evergreen accepts Medicaid — which means high-quality senior living is genuinely within reach for people at every income level.
Personal choice, dignity, and privacy are at the heart of everything we do here.
How is supportive living different from assisted living?
Great question! The biggest difference is Medicaid. Supportive living accepts Medicaid as a pay source, making it a far more affordable option for many seniors and their families.
Residents also need to be able to transfer independently to qualify.

Can Medicaid help pay for supportive living?
Yes — and this is one of the things we are most proud of. Through the Illinois Supportive Living Program, Medicaid can help cover many of the services provided here, making exceptional senior living genuinely accessible and affordable for everyone.

Do residents have private apartments?
Absolutely!
Every resident at Evergreen has their own beautifully private apartment — their own space, their own front door, their own home.
For couples who want to share, our one-bedroom apartments are the perfect place to be together.

Can family members visit?
Always — and as often as they like!
Family and friends are always welcome to stop by, share a meal, join in on activities, and be as involved in community life as they want to be.
